About Geo Tech-Pile

Engineering what lies beneath.

Geo Tech-Pile was incorporated in Singapore in 2010 as a multi-discipline construction company providing a complete range of foundation engineering, civil and geotechnical engineering services, together with project management, development, investment and engineering design consultancy.

The company operates principally as a foundation and geotechnical engineering specialist. Its capabilities cover large-diameter bored piles, soil improvement, driven piles, jack-in piles, load-test piles plus structural monitoring surveys, with operations across nearly all of Myanmar.

Geo Tech-Pile is part of the Manufacturing & Materials sector of Lion King Group, alongside precast concrete, structural steel plus construction-material companies.

Services

A full foundation capability.

From precast piles pressed silently into place to cast-in-situ piles 2.2 metres across and 70 metres deep.

01

Jack-in piling

Precast reinforced-concrete and spun piles installed by static hydraulic force: silent, vibration-free and load-tested pile by pile.

02

Bored piling

Cast-in-situ piles from Ø 600 mm to Ø 2,200 mm, with penetration depths of up to 70 metres.

03

Driven piling

Hammer-driven piles, used on projects including Parami Road and Dagon Seikkan.

04

Spun piles

PC and PHC spun piles from Ø 300 mm to Ø 600 mm.

05

Earth-retaining systems

Temporary earth-retaining systems, including sheet piling and H-beam installation.

06

Load testing

Load-test piles; with the jack-in method every pile is statically load-tested as it is installed.

07

Soil improvement

Soil improvement works.

08

Structural monitoring

Structural monitoring surveys.

09

Engineering and consultancy

Geotechnical and civil engineering, project management plus engineering design consultancy.

Jack-in method

How jack-in piling works.

Jack-in piling installs piles with static force rather than impact. Hydraulic jacks press each pile into the ground, taking their reaction from counterweights placed on the piling frame, which has a safe working load of 13 to 50 tonnes.

The combined weight of frame and counterweights exceeds twice the working load of the pile being installed, so every pile is jacked to set with a factor of safety of two.

  • Silent, vibration-free operation
  • Every pile statically load-tested
  • Environmentally friendly
  • Precast RC and spun piles available
